They don’t make kayaks like this anymore! This is a British designed boat made of heavy-duty fiberglass. At 17′, it is very efficient to paddle. It has a decent amount of rocker which, combined with its soft chine, makes it very maneuverable when edged. It’s adjustable skeg means it can handle the wind.
The deck was re-gel coated a few years back and is showing some wear. This is such a strong boat though – it has years of paddling left in it! It just needs a partner with more forgiving hamstrings than the current one!
